ABOUT THE ARTIST
Veronika Holcova paints metaphysical landscapes that draw on unconscious motifs, and reflect a future vision coming from the past. She combines figural and landscape motifs in a highly distinctive manner. In reality, the landscapes are projections of internal tensions and imaginary worlds where space and time lose their boundaries. The figures turn away from the viewer and head towards the unknown. Veronika Holcova´s work has a strong emotive effect.
