Dan Perjovschi
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Dan Perjovschi is one of the Romanian key contemporary and conceptual artists. Described as a ‘post-communist, post-modernist artist’ his drawing, writing, painting, performance and installation offer a social and political commentary on the flux of modern day Romania. He has transformed the medium of drawing, using it to create an object, a performance, and an installation. In the last decade, Perjovschi has made his drawings spontaneously in museum spaces, allowing global and local affairs to inform the final result.
